No, far left for adoring Stalin, deepthroating Russian propaganda and claiming Ukraine is full of Nazis and poor Russia had to react, claiming the Russian war they started in Ukraine is actually started by NATO, claiming that Russia and China are not imperialist countries and so on. Claiming that Russia and China support trans, gay and other minority people and the vile west doesn’t. Claiming that what’s happening to Uyghurs is made up.
There’s soooo much far left extremism here, way more than I ever encountered anywhere else. Maybe because I never wanted to be part of such a group. But I came with the group that disliked the Reddit api changes and Lemmy really looked like a (smaller and cozier) Reddit replacement at that time.
