I didnt actually get “dad is dead” vibes from this. More like “finding dads old music collection from his younger days” vibes. Maybe you are right tho, the framed photo is kind of in the face.
The “dad liked” + framed photo combo made it pretty clear to me. Also, not sure how long opossums* live but…
