Probably nothing you can do about this but it would be handy if when I click on a link to the article in a post it would open up in a new tab by default. Just one of those little nags but not a real big deal.

that’s true but on my laptop that can be a bit of a pain to middle click lol

Also, in some linux desktop environments (such as KDE), if you use linux, you can set three finger tap on the trackpad to do middle click
