Porn star called roxy raye! Super hot, has done some extreme anal stuff that honestly inspired me a bit to try it, she’s done some kinkier stuff as well, I’m honestly more an erotica person than a pornstar person but definitely a fan of her. Unfortunately she was in a really serious car accident. She’s ok afaik thankfully, but doesn’t do porn any more. Really should have recognized the gender envy from watching her for what it was but hey
I’m not really aware of anyone still shooting porn after 15 years outside of HKJ, and if I’m being honest, I’m not entirely sure she was active yet … it was a different time.
It was also damn near impossible to monetize back then (self-host, find payment processor overseas that took 30% minimum, self-advertise), especially anything outside of male-centric boring shit you’ve seen a thousand times, which led to more of a discovery process and a tighter-knit community for those shooting or appearing in kink.
I’m glad she’s doing OK after just an event, but I never found myself wondering why she didn’t post anymore.

Hm, from a privacy point of view, what’s the difference between this, vs. a private/incognito tab with a pi-hole?
I mean:
- pi-hole eats the ads
- private/incognito eats the cookies
- the sites can still do basic tracking via the video feed itself
As for functional differences… right now, the player seems to be missing the skip ±10sec feature, and the full-screen with rotate.
On the other hand… multi-site private bookmarking, would be interesting.
With incognito mode data is still fetched client-side: the browser still has to send requests directly to the target platform. Plus the origin platform will still set session cookies.
Instead PR (and as far as I know all other alt-frontends) fetches data and does scraping server-side, so that the browser never contacts the platform directly.
The idea is that you can host these alt-frontends wherever you wants (eg. on a remote VPS) outside of your network and they deal with the platforms as intermediaries, and people just have to open the proxy website and browse for content…
Fingerprinting from the original website is easy, the frontend will have a fingerprint as well but it should be shared by all the users without exposing their browsers. Better privacy therefore.

So, are user accounts planned? That would be a great feature, especially if favoriting a video would automatically cache/download the video on the server.
Next added features (in near future) will be:
- advanced search with pagination and filters
- support for other 4-5 platforms
But yeah, a mechanism to save/bookmark favourite videos would definitely be cool and can be easily implemented!

Why are the thumbnails so hard to see unless you hover over a specific one?
It’s a design choice to make site look less aggressive whenever you open it… On mobile version there is a switch to toggle opacity. Maybe I can add that also on desktop version.
I would appreciate it! Having all thumbnails visible at once is what every video platform defaults to. Youtube, Pornhub, etc. I don’t want to have to hover every single thumbnail just to see if I’m interested in the video.
I added a transparency toggler in latest release. Now you can see all thumbnails visible at once!
