I think it’s important nowadays to have faith in your government and democracy. You definitely should vote and you can be proud to help put your country into a direction you feel is best. This post seems to convey the message that you should vote to save democracy. This fear of the end of democracy might just end up increasing the influence of extreme political parties. In the US election both parties warned it will be the last vote.
German polls seem to indicate that CDU/CSU will be the strongest party and they will most likely not go into coalition with AfD, so the AfDs influence will not be much but they will probably get a lot of votes anyways. And even though I do not like the idea of a chancellor Merz due to him being very polarizing, I think Germany got this.
    Don’t panic C:

It’s nice to see a community being born and a furry one too. Thank you for your commitment. ^^
Though I never really liked posts all being titled “[word]_irl”, especially not on reddit where you could only search for a post by its title. A more descriptive and less restrictive title would help finding the post again.
Good luck with this endeavor and I wish everyone a good time here :3

  • German here, I think the degree needed for getting a good job mostly depends on your study subject. One friend of mine studied chemistry at university and said that a PhD is required for a good job while another friend of mine studied computer science and got hired before even finishing his Bachelor’s degree. The company helped him in finishing his Bachelor’s degree while employing him.

I studied math and got a Master of science, currently doing my PhD while working as a research assistant. I hear most math students leave uni after getting their Bachelor’s, similar to computer science students. Though it still wasn’t easy to get a research job for me. I think even within a study subject it depends on your field of research whether getting a job is easy or not.

It was similar for me! I was bored and put an UwU down on the canvas at the beginning of the event and it survived almost until the end! People kept repairing it too and put the rainbow road below without destroying it. In the end the space got repurposed for a cute pony which is for the best x3
I’m very surprised how long it lasted though! This community is so nice!
