I need 40 minutes in the morning to gather the will to get out of bed and an hour after work to disassociate. Yes I complain of not having enough time but these are non-negotiables
And you’re right to complain because those 40 minutes in the morning and the hour after work are both directly linked to your work day. The official work day may only be 8 hours long, but add an often mandatory break, your commute, time to get ready, and time to wind down, and virtually all your waking time is dedicated to your job. That’s a great reason to complain!
