These are the ways im aware of right now:
- Android App
- iOS App
- Mobile Browser (which browser)
- Desktop Browser (which browser)
- CLI Client
If another way please specify, i’m curious 😌
I’m using Jerboa. It works well and looks good.
Just got my account approved and this is my first comment in jerboa, but I’ve used it a couple of times as anonymous and it seemed to have a few issues, hopefully it was just the instance in the communities I was browsing.
I wish I can sort comments with jerboa. Also the default sorting is active instead of hot.
Same
I started with jerboa but it’s a very young project, I find the web interface on mobile is much better. Just using the “add to home screen” functionality to have an icon like if it was an app.
I’m using chrome on mobile and the app, Jerboa. Neither is perfect and so I keep switching around for now.
Basically the same. Guess we gotta wait for the devs to fix things up for the wave of new users.
Similar usage, though I have been swinging in favour of jerboa
Jerboa app. It’s very well done imo
Jerboa Android App.
Firefox on Kubuntu. I haven’t even tried on mobile.
Just tried the iOS app “Mlem” that is in test flight.
Definitely rough. I wish iamthatis would make something like Apollo for Lemmy.
Yeah mlem is definitely still very immature, hopefully it will make quick progress.
Very immature and full of crashes, but still totally usable. Honestly the scrolling experience is fairly Apollo-y.
He mentioned that it’s not something he’s interested in. Memmy is trying to replicate Apollo.
Desktop browser - Firefox running on Ubuntu. Even on Reddit, never quite warmed up to mobile so probably will do same for Lemmy.
Android: Jerboa app, love it. Windows 10: Opera browser. iPad 6: duckduckgo browser for now, will look for app
Firefox on Desktop, with a Greasemonkey script to improve the UI a bit.
That sounds awesome. I used UBlock filters to avoid a lot of garbage on Reddit, but I never got the hang of Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey.
It’s also my first time using Greasemonkey – as far as I understand, it just opens a popup window whenever you open a “.user.js” file that allows you to install the script. So just downloading Greasemonkey and opening the raw .user.js file from Github does the trick.
I’m using Jeroba. This is the first time I ever used lemmy, BTW
Same, so far it seems relatively easy to use. I know I’m not taking full advantage of it, but as with anything there will be a learning curve.
Firefox on desktop and mobile. Haven’t tried any Lemmy specific apps yet.
am using chrome on multiple windows computers, one desktop and a couple 2-in-1 shitty tablet PCs. the UI is a bit klunky but honestly it’s working amazingly for the amount of traffic that it’s had since i signed up this morning.
would like some way of scrolling back up to the top of a page quickly so that i can navigate.
would like it if posts that i left-click on would open a new window like reddit and a few other sites do, as opposed to dragging me away from where i was on my scroll down the feed.
would DEFINITELY like to see a desktop app because while the interface isn’t garishly ugly, it’s also not particularly aesthetic, if you get what i’m saying. i’d love to be able to personalise different instances to different colours.
oh well, i don’t have them right now and it’s still a less painful experience than reddit, even with the occasional bugs

Jerboa for android
I’ve been using the Android App (Jerboa) and my Desktop Browser (Microsoft Edge).
