When the steel path essence is farmed, when those worthless silver arcanes from netracell are gotten, and when you’ve had your rewards from the circuit, what’s something that you end up doing?

I’ve always been kinda bad at catching up and farming “old” stuff, but I’ve eventually gotten LR1, and just don’t really know what to do with myself after the usual few farms.

Therefore, I’m fancily asking for suggestions :p

I’m at this point right now. My current Warframe gameplay consists of a few hours on Sunday evenings completing the weeklies I care about, and even those I end up missing sometimes.

I find myself taking longer breaks from Warframe from time to time, and I’m glad that the game doesn’t make me regret it with FOMO content or something of that sort. IIRC the devs even encourage taking breaks when you have nothing left to grind for.

pick an unmastered weapon/frame and grind for it

pop relics for unowned prime stuff or ducats for baro

Make a niche build. I like invigorating frames I havent forma’d/potatoed and making a decent build, then its more likely I have a decent frame for circuit.

steel path star chart, standing in various factions(vent kids, simaris)

hop in the recruiting chat and help out some noob thats asking for help. I like giving them a few of the galvanized mods from arbitrations to help them make better builds a bit sooner.

or find a different hobby. maybe grind for mastery in the real. lift a weight or learn a skill.

You bring up a good point in the Galvanized mods, easy for us to get, but very hard for new players. Also with the IRL stuff, but I often feel that “Two weeks of focus and then interests shift”. But, could always just try code something in those two weeks :p

Usually play other games, if I feel like I still really want to play Warframe I will go and try to finish up some frames or weapons I have partially collected but never cared enough about to actively grind out.

The eternal MR grind, yes. Slightly off topic to Warframe, but have any suggestions for other games? Doesn’t have to be anywhere related, I play a lot of stuff. (Or used to, before MMO’s stole my time :p)

I don’t really have any other live servicy games I play anymore, used to be WoW would fight for time with Warframe but I haven’t played that game in years. I mostly either try to work through my Steam backlog or re-play old comfy games like Oblivion or Morrowind. Recently I worked my way through the Dark Souls trilogy, for example!

I took a 4 year break in 2019 when I had essentially done all I wanted, New War was a distant release and Railjacks were disappointing. I wouldn’t say to spend that long without playing, but in a game like this, there’s only so many things you can do before you reach a personal endpoint. Its better to take a break and find other games to try while DE releases new updates rather than burning yourself out of the gameplay loop by assigning constant personal challenges.

Log in - get daily reward - log out. That’s what I do at the moment, once I’m no longer burned out from the grind to LR2 I will come back and help more new tennos. Promise…

As someone who got adopted very early in my Warframe “career”, and still actively plays with the person, helping new people could be quite fun. Though it’s been so long that I don’t remember how I even ended up getting adopted.

You could always duck into recruitment chat and taxi some newbies around or help them with older content they’re struggling with.

You could have a scroll through your weapons and see which if you have any that you liked, but didn’t have the potato/forma to make really work for you.

You could try mastering endurance runs and going to level cap.

You could check for any mods you are missing in your collection. Personally I’ve been trying to farm up every stance mod in the game. I’m down to two, but they’re a bit of a pain.

I’m a bit scared of the general chats to be honest, as they got a really bad rep back on the other Warframe community social media thing.

As for the weapon idea, it may be fun, I’ve got both Aklex- and Akvasto Prime lying around, and they’re kinda hot garbage without having invested any significant amount of forma into them. Could probably be fun to make them handle non-sp missions.

Level cap is something I wanna do, but I guess it’s hard to find people with the lfg chat turned off. Could be I should turn it on again, or look in a discord.

And lastly, I do like the idea of collecting, but it seems kinda insurmountable, even though I have a lot of stuff. Funnily enough helped a friend of mine get every mod and every arcane like two weeks back, so I know it’s doable. Said friend does also sit on 60k plat though, so he’s got a slightly easier time than me :p

Make a build that I find fun rather than optimal, then try and figure out how to also make it powerful while keeping the fun.

I’ve been tinkering with a maximum range farming Necros. Right now I’ve got it to just shy of the affinity range and running off the equilibrium/augment combo. I’m playing with what ability I can slot on that doesn’t lose functionality to sacrificing all my stats to range. The harrow chains are currently my favorite.

I’m still in the process of grinding the last few Prime frames & weapons, but I never really dove into Rivens. So there’s that to do at some point, I guess…

But other than that, I don’t really know. Kinda struggling with finding things to do that feel rewarding myself.

Have any fun or good suggestions for other games? No need to be related to anything Warframe like.

Also, do people actually play frame fighter? I’ve only seen it in “Forgotten Features” talks.

Surprised no1 suggested dojo decorating. It is quite neat picking a good concept and sticking to it to make a cohesive piece. A good change of pace too. There is also frame fighter if you’re into fighting games.
