Would you press the button? An image of money: 99% chance you receive a million dollar An image of a raccoon: 1% chance you turn into a trash panda (they’re cute)

But where’s the catch? Granted, a raccoon isn’t my first choice, but it’s still cute and fluffy.

The odds of turning into a raccoon is only 1%, not higher

I mean, you can still just keep pushing the button over and over until you get the Raccoon TF. You’re almost but not entirely guaranteed to get it after 100 tries.

Old comment, but I went through a bit of simple probability calculations to get this. If you have P(“transform into a raccoon”)=0.01, your odds of transforming into a raccoon after 100 presses is 1-(0.99100)≈0.634, meaning there’s still a 36.6% chance that you won’t turn into a raccoon during those 100 presses. :D More than 1 in 3.

Thanks for that. Still pretty good odds that you’d get the TF, though. And I’d assume it’s even better after 200.
